Public bug reported: When I edit a file, e.g.:
gksudo gedit /etc/fstab Make some changes and when saving I see these errors: (gedit:2223): Gtk-WARNING **: Attempting to store changes into `/root/.local/share/recently-used.xbel', but failed: Failed to create file '/root/.local/share/recently-used.xbel.PWS47V': No such file or directory (gedit:2223): Gtk-WARNING **: Attempting to set the permissions of `/root/.local/share/recently-used.xbel', but failed: No such file or directory Note that they don't relate to the file I am editing. I had moved "/home" to a separate partition and then install a Xubuntu 11.10 to a new "/" partition and used the new home partition, ever since I see these errors. To create "/home" I used the instructions from here: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Partitioning/Home/Moving ** Affects: gedit (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/918583 Title: gedit:7954 - no such file/folder error To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gedit/+bug/918583/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
