No attempt of partitial upgrade here, just occured for the first time, opened update-manger and reloading cache leads me here. Although apport states a different error than topic (screenshot). The error 'no package named libpolkit-gtk-1-0' seems obsolet. Changelog of policykit-1-gnome from Sat, 22 Oct 2011 says: Drop libpolkit-gtk packages, removed upstream.
There was an update of policykit available when apport invoked the crash, so perhaps the issue is gone after the update. aptdaemon: Installed: 0.43+bzr756-0ubuntu1 Candidate: 0.43+bzr756-0ubuntu1 Version table: *** 0.43+bzr756-0ubuntu1 0 500 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ precise/main amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ** Attachment added: "apport-log.png" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/python-apt/+bug/896476/+attachment/2689292/+files/apport-log.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/896476 Title: <type 'exceptions.KeyError'>: "The cache has no package named 'rocs- dbg'" To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/python-apt/+bug/896476/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
