Yep, you're right to point that it's just a workaround to wait til this bug 
will get actually fixed. 
The MacOSX way to use the touchpad is not made of good choices.


About wifi it seems to work here. I've just received my NP700Z5A today. I just 
switched to precise. So I've not a lot of use behind me. 
I noticed that during the update the wifi connection gets closed a lot of time 
and that the driver seems very verbose. But now that it is updated seems to be 
back to normal.
I'll now try to focus on installing Catalyst drivers.

Is there some dedicated place (wiki or something like that) to share
about ubuntu support on this device? In order to not spam this issue
with things not related to it. I grabbed some hints about the intel GPU
chipset that could be interesting to share too ;) And I guess that other
guys that gets Catalyst drivers installed could share interesting points
too.
