on Precise i386, logged into xsession-errors on every boot:

 libcolord-CRITICAL **: cd_device_get_id: assertion `CD_IS_DEVICE
(device)' failed

color-plugin-WARNING **: not found device (null): Failed to
FindDeviceByProperty: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.ColorManager.Failed:
property match 'XRANDR_name'='default' does not exist

Running System-Settings-Color: my HP photosmart c4500 dialog box ask for
a needed icc profile; but non exist. So i install the package icc-
profiles-free then check again for a icc profile, but none again. And
get these errors logged:

color-cc-panel-WARNING **: (null) is not usable by this user

color-cc-panel-WARNING **: failed to get ICC file
