Hi. I continue developing plugin from https://github.com/atorkhov/NetworkManager-l2tp in my github fork https://github.com/seriyps/NetworkManager-l2tp . Also, I plan to further support this plugin.
You can test it through installing from my PPA https://launchpad.net/~seriy-pr/+archive/network-manager-l2tp I tested it with Russian ISP beeline.ru - works well. Beeline doesn't use IPSec, so, I doesn't test IPSec capabilities, but author of IPSec part of plugin says that it can connect to Sonicwall VPN provider.
