** Description changed: The system crashes unexpectedly. There is no way to know when it will happen. At first it happened while browsing in Firefox with the wireless. There was a bugreport about that. But it has also happened at other times. Wireless is normally active, so it might be that. Also, I don't find info about the battery state, even though the battery is present and is loaded. After the last crash, I took the power cord out of the laptop, and it came up without a problem. The crash consists of a hot reboot. All of a sudden, the screen goes black, the power goes down, the power comes up again and Ubuntu restarts. It might be hardware related, as this is a new machine, but I have no idea how to check. I already ran memtest without problem.
