Public bug reported:

Installer menu where user can select upgrade, new install and other method, 
when 'other method' is selected it says a problem occured it will now start a 
desktop session to allow further investigation.
After entering desktop session it reports a bug which on attempt to upload says 
it's reported already an can be viewed in the browser, Bug #912031 which is 
already claimed fixed.
