Hello again, I've now recompiled the binary with the line "#define DISABLE_ON_DEMAND_POWER_ON" uncommented and now the card is not powered off.
However, the exact same behavior occurs in both VirtualBox and VMware. in the first case (VirtualBox) "pcscd" spins around the same lines (see attached "pcsc_debug--virtualbox--poweron.out" for comparison purposes. Exactly same behaviour in VMware as well (no log collected for that one). Any further suggestions ? ** Attachment added: "pcsc_debug--virtualbox--poweron.out" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pcsc-lite/+bug/925683/+attachment/2711755/+files/pcsc_debug--virtualbox--poweron.out -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/925683 Title: ActivIdentity USB token not powering/working in a VM (VirtualBox / VMware) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pcsc-lite/+bug/925683/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
