  Please take a look at the attached photo (cannot easily take screenshots
  when indicators are open).
  
  This happens very frequently, although I do not have a test case in
  which it can always be reproduced.
  
- Observed both with the version of Unity currently in precise
- (unity_5.0.0-0ubuntu3) and in the PPA testing version
- (5.2.0~+bzr1884ubuntu0+626). I should mention that this is on the left
- monitor of a multiple-monitor setup (however I am not sure if that is
- relevant).
