The orignially attached files are from a session where the system had
been booted without AC or a network cable plugged in, and so eth0 wasn't
functional. The files I'm attaching here are from my current, working
session. I should probably also say, just for completeness, that the
network card uses the sky2 module.

Additionally, there seems to be a possibly related issue whereby I can
reliably cause a kernel panic by unplugging the AC and then unplugging
the network cable; should I file this as a separate bug, or add further
information in to this one?
