This is still an issue on Ubuntu 11.10. For me the sleep/hibernate feature stopped working when updating to 10.04 (I remember it very clearly) and it has been broken every since.
It tries to hibernate/sleep, but it gets stuck somewhere in the process. I've run "dist-upgrade" every since I installed Ubuntu 9.04, and was told that might be an issue, so to debug (and rule out any inconsistencies in my install) I've completely removed and re-installed Ubuntu 11.10. And the issue is still there and reproducible every time. Please get back to me for more information if I can help you with logs and debugging information. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Expired => Confirmed ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/476626 Title: [ZEPTO ZNOTE] hibernate/resume failure To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/476626/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
