Public bug reported: Since upgrading to linux-generic-pae 3.0.0-15, the computer always freezes during boot. When it freezes, the screen turns 2/3 black, with consistent, odd many-colored vertical bars on the rightmost 1/3 of the screen. This does not happen with previous versions of linux-generic- pae (up to 3.0.0-14). Additionally, selecting recovery mode from grub2, then selecting resume boot results in a normal boot. However, if I do this, the computer fails to wake up from sleep, resulting in a black screen.
