I agree - they have to decide what to do with the profile, I'd just like to make sure they know that this isn't as special a case as they seemed to think it was (with the kinect). Johnny: Well the bugs using the PS3 with ALSA are a problem with the snd_usb_audio kernel module itself, specifically the code for loading mixer controls. I'm looking into it and will try fixing it if I get time, but that was always an issue AFAIK.. and is separate from this pulse audio bug.
