Yes, it is reproducible, but I don't know exactly what circumstances trigger it I'm afraid. Today I managed to reproduce it immediately after Empathy started. A video demonstrating the problem is attached. I'm not sure how useful it is. Basically I just double click on one of my contacts and nothing happens. If you would like log files please tell me how to generate them, and where to find them afterwards.
