Jesse, I have a A4-3310MX, so I don't know if there are any differences besides different clock speeds.
Precise Alpha 2 fix for the A4 is done on kernel 3.2.0-12-generic. Fresh install will get screen detected and stuff, however, WiFi is now broken. Did you get any issues with wireless cards on your A4 laptop?
