** Description changed:

  In the last two versions of Synaptic (0.75.5~exp4 and 0.75.5~exp5) the
  quick search doesn't work. After opening it shows the message
  'Rebuilding software index"; a few seconds later it shows "Quick filter"
  and it should be ready, but it seems inactive. I can't click or type to
  search packages I need.
  
  The 'search' button on the right works correctly
