** Description changed: - Suspend to RAM cannot be chosen instead of suspend to disk in oneiric. - See screenshot. + Suspend to RAM cannot be chosen instead of suspend to disk on critical + battery in oneiric. See screenshot. I would like to have this setting, because my system cannot go into suspend to disk since I've upgraded my ram and thus the warning "there is not enough swap available" always occurs. Since I'm using software raid 0 it's too much of a hassle for me to repartition my system. Also I don't want to reinstall because I've not reinstalled since some years now (thanks to the working upgrades). It would be fine for me to have suspend to ram on critical battery, because this gives me some minutes to plug in the cable, instead of having to reboot my system (either because suspend to disk fails or because I've configured shutdown). Anyway, hope you can change this, since I really miss that option. As I remember this setting was available in previous ubuntu releases. ** Summary changed: - suspend to ram cannot be chosen instead of suspend to disk in power settings in oneiric + suspend to ram cannot be chosen instead of suspend to disk on critical battery in power settings in oneiric -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/930730 Title: suspend to ram cannot be chosen instead of suspend to disk on critical battery in power settings in oneiric To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/930730/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
