Re comment #27:

It's an interesting idea, but I think we should, so far as possible,
avoid including original nameserver information statically, for the
simple reason that the correct nameserver information can change.  For
example, if a current nameserver address has been obtained from
NetworkManager then the address could easily be different next time.
Note that invalid search domains or nameserver addresses cause delays.
