Is anyone else having problems with the native display setting tool in
ubuntu with this issue?

If I open up display settings, it clearly cannot detect my displays and
is presenting me with a huge, single monitor with 3360 X 1050 resolution
(seen attached screenshot).

It is unable to detect the display and I am unable to change the
resolution.

In past versions of Ubuntu, I was able to use this tool, however it
always asked me if I wanted to use the nividia-settings instead. Could
there be some conflict here?
