I just found a discussion that I had opened on the French forum several months ago and then forgot: http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=645381 I already had this problem under Natty and this issue was still present on Oneiric. it was then resolved himself, perhaps after an update around the October 26, 2011
