The patch is supposed to supress the acer-wireless rfkill interface. does not seem to work.
Several things to check: 1) Please try the dkms (http://people.canonical.com/~ikepanhc/lp/826784-6/) it contains the same patch. Please apt-get install dkms and linux-headers first.
