While autohiding in upstream is justified with screen space saving, in Kubuntu we have appmenu widget that allows us to save screen space in another way - by not having a menubar (in button form factor).
To sum up, the panel contains appmenu button, clock, current keyboard layout and notifications, which i personally would like to be able to see on the screen all the time. If my argument is not enough, i suggest putting a poll to get some stats. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kde-workspace in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/937726 Title: no appmenu widget in plasma-netbook by default To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kde-workspace/+bug/937726/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
