** Description changed: I have a problem using Qt-based applications in Oneiric. If I use some context menus in Qt-based application (tried with Skype, QtCreator and VirtualBox frontend), then minimize its window, restore it and try to access the very same menu, it is invisible. The menu is actually there and its options are clickable, as well as the status bar text in VirtualBox gets updated when I hover the mouse over menu's options BUT I can't see it. It is created but not displayed and what you see and feel is like right click didn't work. - 1) The release of Ubuntu: 11.10 Oneiric + Unity 5 BUT I had the very same problem with stock Unity in fully updated system + 1) The release of Ubuntu: 11.10 Oneiric + Unity 5 BUT I had the very same problem with stock Unity in fully updated system. The bug seems to exist only for Unity and not Unity 2D 2) Dunno what package is responsible, but my bet is either qt or compiz. Any Qt-based app from repo I tried was affected 3) I expect context (or right-click) menus to show properly after right-click 4) Context menu was created and its options are clickable but it didn't appear on the screen The problem existed since I installed Oneiric somewhere in November (it was a clean install). Applications that are not using Qt but any other framework are working fine for me. If any logs or other information is needed I can provide it given you tell me how do I obtain it as I'm not very familiar with Ubuntu debugging yet.
