Thanks for submitting this bug.  I can't reproduce this on precise, but
I also don't have a centos guest.  To confirm, you just start the vm up
in virt-manager, click 'pause', click 'pause' again to unpause, and you
get the balloon error?

Can you append the .xml file?

Are you able to reproduce this with other guests, or have you been able
to reproduce this on oneiric or precise?
