Public bug reported:
launcher is always hidden unless specifically called by cursor at left hand
side of display or by super key.
Launcher does not persist on desktop display at all.
Looking at cssm, the default is
launcher autohide (never)
either 'never' or 'atomatic settings do not seem to change this behaviour to
what I guess is the intended behaviour:
that the 'autohide never' causes the launcher to persist unless a window moves
over it.
