Public bug reported:

I have package time
ii time 1.7-23.1 The GNU time program
for measuring cpu resource usage

This package does not allow to pass options as arguments:

 time -f "%E real,%U user,%S sys" ls -Fs
-f: no s'ha trobat l'ordre

real 0m0.366s
user 0m0.264s
sys 0m0.100s

(translation from catalan: "-f: command not found")

time treats -f option as command.

So, it's a bug.
