I'm experiencing this bug with a new installation of Edubuntu 11.10 (in a Xen domU under Debian squeeze amd64). It makes iTalc completely unusable. I can also reproduce this bug with the latest Edubuntu 11.10 live CD booting on a Xen HVM domU under Debian squeeze amd64. GDB stack trace attached. HVM domU configuration as follows:
