Further to bug#937706 (which subsequently became bug #944626 as a result
of xdiagnose output) it does indeed seem I was tempting fate with my
previous post.
Having had no crashes for a couple of days, update manager installed a
new version of the kernel, plus some other updates. Upon logging in for
the first time, immediately after the desktop was drawn, there was a
crash. I had not launched any apps or given any input to the system - it
just went straight back out to the login screen.
Should I report further information, or should I stop posting xdiagnose
output like this?
