I tried the mainline kernel on Oneiric but it didn't make the device show up in geisview. Also in Oneiric X started hanging when I tried to make gestures, seemed like some kind of input/keyboard grab. i can still switch to text vc and back, and kill the session with the SAK.
I now upgraded to Precise beta. This time geisview shows the device but the hang bug is the same. I get some stuff in Xorg.0.log, here's the part that comes when the bug occurs. I'm also attaching the entire Xorg.0.log file for the session. [ 822.377] eGalax Inc. USB TouchController: not enough space for touch events (max 1 touchpoints). Dropping this event.
