@charles: I can only add that you need to enable per-window layouts in g-c-c to better reproduce it. In such cases, the indicator doesn't correctly update its state on windows switching.
Speaking about technical details, our patched g-s-d watches for "X -state-changed" signal (there are 2 callbacks for it — gkbd_configuration_state_callback() and state_callback() — both result in correctly updating the menu), but it seems that this signal isn't emited on window changes, so we should probably fix it or handle window switches separately. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/885730 Title: keyboard layout indicator reacts incorrectly To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-settings-daemon/+bug/885730/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
