Am I the only person who still has this problem?

Here's what I've tried:

- edited entry in /etc/fstab
- removed entry in /etc/fstab (DVD will still mount without the entry in
fstab--interesting)
- modprobed udf & iso9660
- upgraded kernel to 2.6.20-16
- manually mounted: sudo mount -t udf /dev/scd0 /media/cdrom0/
- turned off ACPI (it's a desktop so that's ok)

My symptoms: DVD will mount, I can browse the directories using
Konqueror, but I can't copy files and it won't play the DVD in Kaffeine.
I also noticed this problem after I installed Fiesty (fresh install). I
know it worked before because I used the same DVD+-RW to burn the Fiesty
disk image in the first place! And it still works in Windows.

I've attached all my error outputs in a single file: /etc/fstab, dmesg,
lshw, lspci -vv, lspci -vvn

Did I miss something?

Thanks in advance!
