I've added the branch that fixes that bug for Oneiric (it looks like Precise needs to be fixed too and probably some old releases). Also I've rebuilt Wubi with fixed grub. @mikifin, could you test this version http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~ilya-yanok/+junk/wubi-build/view/head:/wubi.exe ?
