Public bug reported:

The new GNOME applications (currently Web, Documents, Contacts) are
supposed to be transferred to the GNOME Shell panel. This used to work
with the Shell packages from the GNOME team's PPA (see
http://www.siltala.net/public/screenshots/epiphany.png ).

With the upload of gnome-shell 3.90 into the main repositories, this has
been broken. The menu shows up in *both* the shell and the application
window.

Running up to date Precise, gnome-shell 3.3.90-0ubuntu1.
