I have this (imho it is immanent at all, nor?) bug too - and its very annoying.
I can not mount internal drives via the "media:/"-kio, which was pre feisty possible (and really cool). I also get the same error message, if i want to mount external drives - but not always. Dont know, on which aspects this is depending... Error message: "hal-storage-fixed-mount refused uid 1000" (uid 1000 is of course my user) now i always have to enter "pmount /dev/..." myself - not very good publicy for kubuntu, if i show it to someone and have to go to a konsole to just get access to a USB stick... :/ In my point of view, this bug is a really annoying showstopper. Looking forward for a fix - should not be hard, as it worked in all other versions pre feisty.
