** Description changed: Sweex LW153 (RT3070 based) wifi USB disconnects at random on Ubuntu 10.10 How to reproduce: Get a sweex LW153 Get a fresh Ubuntu 10.10 Plug in the LW153 Connect to your WiFi Open firefox Go to any webpage (try watching a video) Wait a random amount of time (seconds to minutes) WiFi disconnects and won't reconnect automatically. To reconnect either disable/re-enable wireless networking or unplug/replug LW153. LW153 is based on RT3070 chip. If I run modprobe it shows RT2800, not RT3070.
