So because it's taking the details from xorg.conf it has this problem even if i remove the 2nd display with the 'Nvidia X Server Settings' Dialog. But anyways I expect it not to fail if a external screen is not always present. It's a laptop. That's quite normal to not always have a dual screen setup anytime anywhere.
