Public bug reported: Precise Desktop 20120320
A dialog is displayed when the user wants to quit ubiquity ('Quit' or Close window) but the button 'Continue' is still active and the user can continue to steps where the application is not supposed to be closed. Only the buttons are enabled and the user cannot enter any text in the input fields. The screenshot shows the step 'user setup' and the quit dialog which was open at step 'Prepare' ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.04 Package: ubiquity 2.9.30 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.2.0-19.30-generic 3.2.11 Uname: Linux 3.2.0-19-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 1.94.1-0ubuntu2 Architecture: amd64 CasperVersion: 1.312 Date: Tue Mar 20 17:33:53 2012 InstallCmdLine: file=/cdrom/preseed/ubuntu.seed boot=casper initrd=/casper/initrd.lz quiet splash -- maybe-ubiquity LiveMediaBuild: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS "Precise Pangolin" - Alpha amd64 (20120320) ProcEnviron: TERM=xterm LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: ubiquity UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) ** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug iso-testing precise qa-manual-testing ubiquity-2.9.30 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/960375 Title: quit dialog should be modal or block the button 'continue' To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/960375/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
