I discovered this bug this today as well, but think a better fix would be to modify the /usr/lib/jvm/java-7-openjdk-amd64/jre/bin/itweb- settings shell script to have "JAVA=/usr/lib/jvm/java-7-openjdk- amd64/jre/bin/java"
