Hi! I have also configured Keepassx to start minimized to tray with showing its icon. Every time I started it only showed up on tray, but there is a workaround for this issue.
Open and edit the keepassx's config file, which can be found here: ~/.config/keepassx/config.ini You have to modify these lines to show up the main window: MinimizeToTray=false MinimizeTray=false StartMinimized=false It worked for me and after you start Keepassx it will show up with its main window.
