Also affects x86_64. haskell-platform (and a great many libghc-* packages) are currently uninstallable in precise. Main "problem" is the two dependencies: ghc (>= 7.0.4), ghc (< 7.0.4+). Based on how the haskell-platform is defined <http://code.haskell.org/haskell-platform/haskell- platform.cabal> this seems correct, but no version of ghc in precise (or oneiric+precise) can simultaneously satisfy those deps. I'm not sure if the "tested-with" is supposed to be a mandatory restriction or not, but the package version restrictions for all the libraries (including stuff like base) is supposed to be mandatory.
