How to reproduce this bug ------------------------------------- There is now an easy reproduceable way for this bug, at least on my netbook. Any time, when I copy a huge file via nautilus, or UbuntuOne takes a longer time to update, and the progress bar is shown on the icon in the launcher, it happens (often but not every time) that after the completed job, the icon still has the progress bar on it, showing a not fully completed job. Then passing some more time (minutes), you suddenly get the crash and this bug report shows up to fill out for another time. Here you go. I just provoked that bug again ... you can see the not normalizing icon in the upper left corner, while the job is already done indeed. ** Attachment added: "The nautilus icon in the corner still shows a copy job, while it indeed already ended" https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity-2d/+bug/734878/+attachment/2927575/+files/Bildschirmfoto%20vom%202012-03-24%2010%3A44%3A04.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/734878 Title: unity-2d-launcher crashed with SIGSEGV To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity-2d/+bug/734878/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
