Thank you for the suggestion. I uninstalled guayadeque and installed guayadeqe-svn without any problem after also uninstalling guayadeque- scope (ppa:markjtully/ppa).
When I attemped to re-install guayadeque-scope, the application attempted to uninstall guayadeque-svn and install guayadeque. Thanks for your help. The bug should have been raised against guayadequr-scope!
