Public bug reported:

After an unknown ammount of time passed on battery power, the laptop completely 
freezes. First the mouse, then the whole screen. 
Switching TTY doesn't work either, the only solution is restarting. If not on 
AC power, this cycle continues. It does this independently of applications 
opened. Even if opened and left to idle. I'm happy to provide any further info 
needed.
