Øyvind Stegard, thank you for reporting this bug and helping make Ubuntu
better. This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in
it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If so, please execute
the following command, as it will automatically gather debugging information,
in a terminal:
apport-collect 571770

As well, since you noted this started moving from Karmic to Lucid, a
bisect needs to be conducted to find the offending commit. Could you
please perform this following
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/KernelBisection ?

** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu)
       Status: Confirmed => Incomplete

** Tags added: i386 lucid
