I have Ubuntu 10.04.4 LTS. ksimus-boolean worked okay after I recompiled it. KSimus is now a bit old, and a lot has changed since it was written. Please excuse the extra verbosity here. The output may vary, depending on what you have already installed.

and I did not apply the Ubuntu patch, which did not seem to address the issue that I was having. Step 3: Apply the tiny patch attached. This edits the configure script to tell it where to find the ksimus headers (try as I might, I could not get this to work without editing). Step 4: configure and make. Again, the configure script has to be overridden. ./configure --prefix=/usr --with-qt-includes=/usr/include/qt3 --with-extra-includes=/usr/include/kde make sudo make install 'make install' will write the libksimus-boolean libraries to /usr/lib/ksimus. You may be able to do 'step 5' in ksimusrc itself. Start it, and it should not complain about the 'file not found', and there should be a lot of extra components available.
