Public bug reported: After some hardly extensive editing in gimp the menu entries suddenly disappear from some gimp windows. Disappear means: The top-level menu-labels are visible and clickable, but they only reveal empty menus. Most of the time not all are affected, but after a first encounter it usually starts to spread to some other gimp windows. The bug is not reproducible by performing a certain action but is sure to appear after a while of using gimp. Restarting the application fixes the problem.
