Public bug reported: After having upgraded Lucid to Precise, the GNOME session is missing. I have Ubuntu, Ubuntu 2D, Recovery session and User Defined session (=Ubuntu 2D or maybe 3D, I don't know because I have not 3D in my VirtualBox). I had no problem while upgrading, except one for unreadable characters (already reported) in a dialog. I join you my installed packages list and my dpkg.log which countains nothing but the installed packages when I installed Lucid and the changements done while upgrading, no other apt action done except these ones.
