Public bug reported:

VLC 1.1.12-2~oneiric1 (32bits)

I was watching a DVD with menus (Pirate of the Carribeans to be precise) in
original version (without subtitles) but I'm french and the computer I used was
set as french.
I had to go somewere in the internet, so I switch to desktop 2 (maybe I paused
the movie).
When I came back to the video, the audio track was french.

** Affects: vlc (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
