On 3.2.0-21 -generic or -lowlatency, the screen still need the patch or the git-related part of http://lii-enac.fr/en/architecture/linux-input/multitouch-ubuntu-howto.html (adapted for 12.04 version, didn't test with others) to correctly handle the finger's position.
Note: On Ubuntu 12.04, windows title bars aren't "touch-clickable", and any touch will result with the loose of any click functionality (touch & mouse).
