I see the path to execute unity-greeter is to usr. So I should add that since the updates of March 30, I have been having permissions issues in that folder. E.g. I could suddenly not execute a 3G script anymore (Sakis, relies on usb-modeswitch etc.) that worked fine every day before. I checked, and as Admin I have no more rights to anything in the entire /usr folder. I searched for a similar error and found support forum entries that show this has in fact happened before during upgrades. Should I report this as a separate bug? I have no clue what happened or if it even has anything to do with Precise... Sorry I can't be more helpful. I'm comfortable with applying commands etc. but I'm no source code geek :( -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/970569 Title: unity-greeter crashed with SIGABRT in raise() To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity-greeter/+bug/970569/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
